Round theseaheeahpahts, however, 2008 will go down in history as the year of the Great Walnut Drop!
Yep, Hurricane Ike made it all the way to Ohio and hit us with 50mph winds. As of this writing many are STILL without power, but I digress. As many of you may or may not know, the little red house on Vine is surrounded by Black Walnut trees. Usually these trees drop nuts, a few at a time, over the course of several months. With Ike in town, they pretty much all came down at once! Now I like trees as much as the next guy, maybe even more, but these damn things are a filthy menace. Especially the giant one near our brand new driveway.
See fer yerselves.
Warning!
The following pictures contain explicit scenes of driveway devastation.
Makes ya want to cry, don't it?

Ivy pitches in with the clean-up!

Tragedy brings out the best in EVERYONE as Meg also lends a hand.

One trash can full...

...and ANOTHER! A mere 4 1/2 hours later and the yard was back to normal.

Duuuuude, this is SO old. You can't tell me that in two months you haven't taken any new pictures or had any new fun with that stinkin' cute baby of yours. If you say that I say you are a LIAR. UPDATE!
Wow, it seems like only 2 1/2 MONTHS AGO!
