After brunch at the country club with Big Al (my Dad, natch), Meg took Ivy on a adventure up to the Rocky River Science Center, allowing me some time off.
I got my GEEK on at a matinee of that rascally new HULK movie and chowed down on some Starburst: Gummibursts that Meg gave me that morning. After that I spent the next couple hours reclining out on our deck with a beer or two. The weather was PERFECT, and it was kinda great just laying there and listening to the quiet sounds of our back yard.
Meg and Ivy returned fairly early as the Science Center was kind of a bust, so they grabbed me and we headed over to the fancy playground in Stow. After wearing Ivy out on multiple apparatus (She LOVED the tube-slide!) we headed over to Aladdin's in Hudson for dinner. Ivy was great at dinner which is ALWAYS nice, and we got her home by 8pm to hit the hay. Meg and I followed suit at around 9:30, yeah I said 9:30! DON'T YOU JUDGE US!
Anyway, it was a pretty nice little father's day, all in all.
